NBA Finals Prediction 2017

The 2017 NBA Finals are between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is their third consecutive match up in the Finals. I would consider this a rivalry because they have met each other in the Finals three times in a row. The Golden State Warriors won the 2015 championship in 6 games, 4-2. The Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 championship in an all-out duel of 7 games, 4-3 and they were able to be the first team in history to come back from a 3-1 deficit. There was a lot of controversy in both of the past Finals. In 2015 two of the Cavaliers star players, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, were both injured. In 2016, the Warriors were up 3-1, but in the final three games of the series the officiating was thought to be more in favour of the Cavaliers. Personally, I am a huge Kyrie Irving fan and with all of these things in mind, I predict the champions of 2017 NBA Finals are going to be the Cleveland Cavaliers. Not only do they have one of my favourite players, but they also have the best player in the world, Lebron James. Lebron has appeared in the last 6 Finals, making this his seventh Finals' appearance. This is very impressive to me because he has been in the Finals for the last seven years so he know the joy of winning and the pain of losing. More importantly he knows what it takes to win and he plays on a different level above everyone else during the Finals. Kyrie Irving is a pure scorer and is able to come through during crunch time. He hit the clutch, game-winning dagger last year in the NBA finals and to top it all off he has the best handles in the league. His dribbling ability is superb, no other NBA player rivals him in this category, he is in a league of his own. To conclude, I choose the Cleveland Cavaliers to win  the 2017 NBA Finals.
